Cult of Personality

Cult of Personality--- in history "Cult of Personality" arises when when a country's leader uses mass media to create an idealized and heroic public image, often through unquestioning flattery and praise. Cults of personality are often found in dictatorships and Stalinist governments.
A cult of personality is similar to general hero worship, except that it is created specifically for political leaders. However, the term may be applied by analogy to refer to adulation of religious or non-political leaders. in modern version, the idea of Cult of Personality is portrayed in a song sung by Living Color,,.take a sneak review in its lyrics below;

Cult of PersonalityLiving Colour

(V Reid, C. Glover, W. Calhoun, M. Skillings)

Look into my eyes, what do you see?

Cult of PersonalityI know your anger,

I know your dreamsI

've been everything you want to be

I'm the Cult of Personality

Like Mussolini and Kennedy

I'm the Cult of Personality

Cult of Personality

Cult of Personality

Neon lights, A Nobel Price

The mirror speaks, the reflection lies

You don't have to follow me

Only you can set me free

I sell the things you need to be

I'm the smiling face on your T.V.

I'm the Cult of Personality

I exploit you still you love me

I tell you one and one makes three

I'm the Cult of Personality

Like Joseph Stalin and Gandhi

I'm the Cult of Personality

Cult of Personality

Cult of Personality

Neon lights a Nobel Prize

A leader speaks, that leader dies

You don't have to follow me

Only you can set you free

You gave me fortune

You gave me fame

You me power in your God's name

I'm every person you need to be

I'm the Cult of Personality
